The exterior of the container was painted in the restaurant’s branding colour. Once the conversion was completed, we arranged for the delivery and installation of the catering unit at the restaurant’s designated outdoor space. The possibilities with this container conversion are plentiful.  The entire side panel is operated via an electric winch system, taking less than one minute to fully open and close, with an additional traditional door available at the rear or side of the unit.  Once opened, an extended floor space is available which provides capacity for all manner of uses such as seating or product displays.

The floor space is sheltered by a full electric awning system which is rated for UK weather conditions.  The awning is available in a choice of colours and add on features including wind and rain sensors.  The unit is available in a range of internal and external finishes.

The top unit consisted of 3 rooms: a meeting room, an office and a large store room, whereas the bottom unit was converted to include a canteen, a locker room and a W/C. Both units had full electrics including heating, lighting and socket outlets installed. In addition to these features, both units were fitted with anti-vandal aluminium sliding windows that come with steel security shutters and steel personnel doors that have 10 point locking mechanisms. We also added effluent tanks to hold the waste from the canteen sink and the W/C. As suggested, we supplied them with a staircase and platform to access the top unit. We always offer professional installation on-site so we erected the setup at their chosen location.

Corrugated steel cabin 32ft x 10ft with adjustable jacklegs anti vandal steel personnel door and anti-vandal aluminium sliding windows in steel shutters. Painted externally in non-corrosive container paint in a vibrant red. Internally with walls where lined in a cost-effective melamine faced chipboard and fully insulated throughout in Rockwool. The floor had hard wearing vinyl flooring overlaid onto a 18mm plywood base. Full electrics where fitted throughout with LED strip lights, double sockets and heaters. The unit was split into a small office and a large storeroom, in the store the customer request 3 tier racking and a standard kitchen worktop which we installed.
